TIME RESTORATION

CENTRE OF TIME
Sonic stood on an asteroid, surrounded by Swatbots, about to open fire on him.
SONIC: (exploding with rage) 'You have destroyed MOBIUS!'
He transformed into evil Super Sonic, causing an explosion, vaporising all the Swatbots around him.
RITUS: 'No. Sonic's gone super.'
BIRDONNA: 'And in his negative form as well.'
TALLIX: 'He could ruin everything.'
EVIL SUPER SONIC: 'I will destroy you, King Ritus! You and your family of pathetic metal heads!'
Evil Super Sonic powered up, then all of a sudden, he powered down and changed back to normal.
SONIC: 'Ow, my head.'
RITUS: 'So you used up all that negative energy to destroy my Swatbots. Your powers will not help you where you're going.'
SONIC: 'What do you mean?'
RITUS: 'Time Eater!'
The giant Time Eater monster appeared.
SONIC: (shocked) 'No way. That's the monster responsible for all this?'
RITUS: 'That's correct, Sonic. At first, we didn't know how it worked. So we did a test, and tapped into a parallel Mobius, transporting someone from that world to yours.'
SONIC: (realising something) 'Mel Prower. So that's how she ended up on our Mobius.'
A clock materialised, with a second hand and a minute hand. The minute hand was on the 6.
RITUS: 'This is the time clock. It's now been thirty minutes since Mobius history was changed. When an hour is up, the changes will become permanent.'
SONIC: 'And I suppose there's a way to prevent it?'
ASTERON: 'The only way to save Mobius is to destroy the Time Eater.'
SONIC: 'There's no way I can destroy that monster without the power of the Chaos Emeralds.'
RITUS: 'Then you are doomed. In the altered Mobius, the emeralds are used to power all the machines on the planet. And removing them will shut down Mobius completely.'
SONIC: (falling to his knees) 'I can't believe it's gonna end like this. Time is running out, and I can't do a thing to stop it.'
RITUS: 'Now that's something I like to see. A superhero give up on everything. Let's see how your depression keeps you alive for the next fifteen minutes.'
SONIC: (getting up) 'What do you mean?'
RITUS: 'Time Eater, send Sonic to Mobius for fifteen minutes. And bring him back here when the time is up.'
The giant Time Eater formed a time hole, and it pulled Sonic in.

ALTERNATE MOBIUS
Sonic appeared in an  alleyway of an industrial city area. The walls and ground were mostly metal. Sonic looked up at the orange cloudy sky.
SONIC: 'I'm stuck here for fifteen minutes. A major nightmare. And I have fifteen minutes to survive it.'
Sonic ran out into the open, and saw ships in the sky. Sonic looked at all the factories that surrounded him.
SONIC: 'What are all these factories for?'
Sonic zoomed into one of the factories.

INSIDE THE FACTORY
Sonic looked around, and saw the machines putting Swatbots together.
SONIC: 'A Swatbot factory.'

ANOTHER PART OF THE PLANET
Sonic stood on a mountain, and looked down at lots of giant rockets stretching across miles of land. The rockets were all pointing up into the sky.
SONIC: 'Giant rockets? Is King Ritus planning to start a war with the rest of the universe? He's already conquered Mobius. What more does he want?'
ROBOT VOICE: 'Intruder! Organic life form detected!'
Sonic quickly turned around and saw two Flying Swatbots.
SONIC: (raising his hands) 'I surrender guys.'
FLYING SWATBOT: 'You will taken to the Robot Processing Plant.'
SONIC: 'Robot Processing Plant?'
FLYING SWATBOT: 'Transport!'
All of a sudden, a portal formed around Sonic and the Swatbots.

ROBOT PROCESSING PLANT
Sonic appeared inside a huge factory, with several depressed animals standing before him. The goat in front of Sonic looked back, and saw Sonic.
GOAT: 'Sonic? It can't be? Where the hell were you?'
SONIC: (sadly looking down) 'I wish I knew.'
A Swatbot marched up to them.
SWATBOT: 'No talking! You three are next!'
The male goat, the male raccoon and the female bear were pushed into big doors, which closed behind them. High above the circled wall was some kind of machine, with buzz saws, laser guns and injection needles. The machine started up and rotated. The machine descended, and Sonic heard the horror of the three animals screaming, as the machine did its horrible work to them.
SONIC: (to the Swatbots) 'What are you doing to them?!'
SWATBOT: 'They are being turned into robots.'
The doors opened, and three Swatbots marched out.
SONIC: (shocked) 'King Ritus is making Swatbots out of living Mobians? No way!'
FLYING SWATBOT: 'That is correct. This factory houses many of the last surviving Mobians.'
SONIC: 'You monsters! And what was with all those rockets?'
FLYING SWATBOT: 'King Ritus has nuclear warheads stationed over Mobius. On the thirteenth, they will launch, and we shall wage war on planets in space, with Mobius as the heart of the new Robotic Empire.'
SONIC: (getting depressed) 'This can't be happening!'
SWATBOT: 'You are next, Sonic. Get moving.'
Sonic looked depressed, then he stood up with a determined look on his face.
SONIC: 'No!'
SWATBOT: 'What?'
SONIC: 'It may be too late to save Mobius, but I am not going to let Ritus take over the universe! No way!'
Sonic span around, forming a tornado, capturing all the Swatbots in the area, and sending them crashing into the walls.
SONIC: 'I'm outta here.'
Sonic zoomed out of the factory.

OUTSIDE
Sonic zoomed outside and got away from the giant factory as fast as he could.
SONIC: 'King Ritus said this planet is powered by the Chaos Emeralds. In order to stop the launch, I must remove those Emeralds and shut this place down. And I must, if I can't prevent this version of Mobius from existing.'
Sonic ran up to an outside computer terminal.
SONIC: 'Maybe this will tell me where the Emeralds are.'
He pressed a few buttons under the monitor.
COMPUTER VOICE: 'Welcome to the Robotic Information Centre. Please  ask your question.'
SONIC: 'Where are the location of the Chaos Emeralds?'
COMPUTER VOICE: 'That is classified information.'
Sonic got mad, then he spotted a metal cone, and picked up.
SONIC: (speaking through the cone) 'Computer, this is King Ritus! I seem to have lost my map! Tell me the location of the Chaos Emeralds!'
COMPUTER VOICE: 'King Ritus, you cannot forget something vital like that.'
SONIC: (raising his voice) 'Tell me where the Emeralds are, or I'll rip out your electronic brain!'
COMPUTER VOICE: 'Okay, okay. The Chaos Emeralds are located inside the Mount Mobius Power Plant.'
SONIC: 'Mount Mobius. Perfect.'
Sonic ran off.

MUSIC SCENE: SONIC CD: Stardust Speedway Dark Future (Japanese Version)
Sonic ran along the open area, being pursued by Stealth Bots and Swatbots. They opened fire on Sonic, who dodged their attacks.
SONIC: (holding out a Power Ring) 'This calls for some extreme speed.'
Sonic held up the Power Ring, and powered up, causing a Sonic Boom. He zoomed off at great speed, and the impact of the Sonic Boom sent the flying robots flying back, shattering them apart.
END OF MUSIC SCENE

MOUNT MOBIUS POWER PLANT
Sonic arrived and looked up at the giant factory of machines.
SONIC: 'Now all I have to do is get inside.'

INSIDE THE POWER PLANT
Sonic leaped in through an inside man-hole cover. Sonic landed on the ground, and saw a giant humming machine. Sonic saw a series of stairs leading to gantries surrounding the upper levels of the room. Sonic zoomed up the stairs to get a better look at the giant humming machine. He got a good look at the top of the giant machine. He saw the Master Emerald, surrounded by the seven Chaos Emeralds, all plugged into the machine, and glowing strongly.
SONIC: 'I must disconnect the emeralds, in order to shut down Mobius and save the rest of the universe.'
Sonic leaped off the gantry, and landed on top of the giant machine. He ran up to the Master Emerald, and tried to grab a hold of it. The Master Emerald and the other emeralds zapped Sonic, sending him off the machine. Sonic landed on the ground.
SONIC: (getting up) 'Man, those Emeralds are well guarded. I'll never be able to remove them. I could destroy the machine, but that could destroy the planet.'
Sonic clenched his fist, struggling what to do.
SONIC: 'This planet is already doomed. I have no choice. I must make the ultimate sacrifice and destroy this machine, before the planet launches its attack on the universe. I just wish there was another way.'
Vermin the Cybernik materialised in front of Sonic.
VERMIN: 'A touching dilemma, Sonic. Too bad we can't allow it.'
A whole army of Vermin Cyberniks materialised around the area, and they began advancing towards Sonic.
SONIC: 'I'm not going to let it end like this.'
He span around like a tornado, and began zooming towards a Vermin, who repelled him with its tail. Sonic was sent crashing into a wall. A Vermin pinned Sonic to the ground.
VERMIN: 'You are not going anywhere, Sonic.'
The evil Cybernik dangled the sharp end of its tail at Sonic's belly. Sonic tried to break free, but Vermin's grip was too strong.
VERMIN: (raising its tail) 'Goodbye, Sonic.'
Sonic suddenly disappeared, just as Vermin got ready to strike. The Cybernik's tail struck the ground, where Sonic was.
VERMIN: 'Oh rats!'

CENTRE OF TIME
Sonic materialised lying on the asteroid.
SONIC: 'I'm back. That must mean my fifteen minutes are over.'
Sonic got up on his feet, and faced against the Robotic Family and the Time Eater.
SONIC: 'All right. You guys have caused enough problems. I am going to destroy that Time Eater, and save Mobius, even if it's the last thing I do!'
RITUS: 'Go ahead and try. We'd love to watch you fail.'
Sonic held up the blue stone, and formed the Water Shield. Sonic powered up, and fired a blast of water directly at the Time Eater, which hardly phased it. The evil monster laughed.
SONIC: 'Ah man. It didn't work. (Holds up the green stone) Take this!'
He formed the Lightning Shield, and fired a powerful jolt of lightning directly at the monster, causing an explosion.
SONIC: (holds up the red stone) 'Now to finish you off.'
He formed the Fire Shield, and transformed into a fire ball, and attacked the Time Eater, causing a big explosion of fire.
TALLIX: 'No!'
Sonic landed on the ground, and the shield disappeared.
SONIC: (holding up all three stones) 'I drained all the stones of their power. Now I can't use them for another thirty minutes.'
The fire and smoke disappeared, and the Time Eater was still standing, unharmed and laughing evilly.
SONIC: 'No way. I gave that monster everything I got.'
RITUS: 'And in less than fifteen minutes, Mobius history will be changed forever. (To his evil family) We should celebrate our victory.'
BIRDONNA: 'And I have a fiendish idea too, Darling. The crucifixion of Sonic.'
RITUS: 'Splendid idea. He's powerless to stop us now. His pride has been torn to shreds, as his spiny body will be. Prince Tallix, take him away.'
TALLIX: 'Yes, father.'
TAILS' VOICE: 'Sonic!'
TALLIX: (looking up) 'What?'
Tails appeared standing on an asteroid above, with Fiona, Amy, Johnny, Porker and Tekno.
SONIC: 'Tails? Fiona? Guys? But, how?'
The Chaotix and the Omni Viewer showed up on another asteroid.
VECTOR: 'We have Omni to thank.'
OMNI: 'I witnessed time was being altered by the Time Eater, so I retrieved  all your friends from Mobius, before the change happened.'
KNUCKLES: (standing on another Asteroid) 'And we brought the Chaos Emeralds with us too.'
He held up an emerald. Tails, Fiona and Amy held up emeralds.
SONIC: 'Mega cool.'
Scratch, Villie, Shadow, Rouge, Grounder and Bob showed up on another asteroid.
SCRATCH: 'Show these evil clowns what you're made of, Sonic.'
SHADOW: 'We know you can do it, Sonic.'
ROUGE: 'You can stop them, Sonic. And save us all.'
Scratch, Shadow and Rouge held up the other three emeralds.
SONIC: 'All the emeralds.'
RAZOR'S VOICE: 'Hey.'
Razor appeared on another asteroid.
RAZOR: 'I'm here to help you put this evil king away.'
Silver and Blaze arrived.
SILVER: 'All our fates rest in your hands, Sonic.'
SONIC: 'You guys arrived from your futures to support me?'
SALLY'S VOICE: 'Sonic.'
Sonic turned and saw Princess Sally standing near Razor.
SALLY: 'Get them, Sonic. I know you can do it.'
SONIC: 'Right, Sal.'
RITUS: (upset) 'No. This was supposed to be my greatest glory!'
Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Fiona, Scratch, Shadow and Rouge held out the seven emeralds, and they began to descend towards Sonic. The emeralds span around Sonic, closing in on him. The emeralds' powers transformed Sonic into Super Sonic.
TALLIX: 'No.'
FRANCINE: 'We're done for.'
RITUS: 'It's not over until it's over. Time Eater, destroy Sonic!'
The giant monster attacked, sending various objects from zones directly at Super Sonic, who dodged them all with his super spin attack.
SUPER SONIC: 'You'll have to try better than that.'
Super Sonic powered up and charged at Time Eater. The two powerful monster.
BOB: (cheering) 'Time Eater, Time Eater, go, go, go!'
SCRATCH: 'What the cluck are you doing, Bob? You're supposed to be cheering for Sonic!'
BOB: 'But Time Eater's name is so catchy.'
SCRATCH: 'I wish you were time. Then the monster can eat you, and I won't have to put up with you again.'
BOB: 'Aww thanks man.'
SCRATCH: (slapping his hand on his face) 'Agh!'
Super Sonic squared off against the Time Eater, and began to overpower it.
RITUS: 'No. My magnificent creation is losing. We must give it some help. We're all going to take control of the Time Eater.'
FEATHERS: 'But Dad, you said that's dangerous.'
RITUS: 'Don't talk back to your father. Birdonna, you, Feathers and I will take the top terminal. And Tallix, you, Francine and Asteron will have the bottom.'
TALLIX: 'Yes, Father.'
The villains magically transformed into energy balls, and sent straight into the two orbs on Time Eater's forehead.
SILVER: 'The Robotic Family have gained control of the monster. This could make things harder for Sonic.'
RAZOR: 'He must win. Otherwise history will be rewritten forever.'
The Time Eater powered up and fired energy balls at Super Sonic, who dodged the attacks.
SUPER SONIC: 'Becoming one with your monster isn't gonna help you win Ritus.'
RITUS' VOICE: 'We'll see, Sonic. In ten minutes, the dark Mobius will become permanent. And unless you can destroy the Time Eater before time is up, you will pay a huge price.'
SUPER SONIC: 'No! I will destroy the Time Eater, and save Mobius, and rid the universe of your Robotic filth once and for all!'
Super Sonic powered up and continued his fight with the Time Eater.
SALLY: 'Sonic! Nicole says the weak spot is the glowing pink orb below it's head! Destroy the orb and you destroy the Time Eater!'
SUPER SONIC: 'I'm on it, Sal. (To Time Eater) All right, the tables have turned.'
TALLIX'S VOICE: 'You will never reach the weak spot!'
FRANCINE'S VOICE: 'We'll see to that *giggle*.'
FEATHERS' VOICE: 'Face it, Sonic. It's over and you lost.'
RITUS' VOICE: 'Soon, time and space will be all mine.'
BIRDONNA'S VOICE: 'And you can't do a thing to stop us.'
ASTERON'S VOICE: 'And with my scientific expertise, the Time Eater will do far more than it can already…'
RITUS' VOICE: 'Silence!'
SUPER SONIC: 'Couldn't have put it better myself.'
Super Sonic zoomed straight towards the orb, dodging the Time Eater's attacks along the way. Super Sonic charged at the orb at great speed, he penetrated the orb and went straight through.
RITUS' VOICE: 'Noooo!!!'
The other villains were heard screaming, as the Time Eater began to fall apart. The whole giant monster went up in a big explosion of light.

EMERALD HILL ZONE
Sonic returned to where he was, before he was taken away. The others all arrived through closing time holes.
SALLY: 'Oh Sonic. You saved us all once again.'
She kissed Sonic.
SONIC: (blushing) 'Thanks Sal.'
AMY: 'Hey, what about me.'
SONIC: 'Very well, Amy. But on the cheek.'
AMY: 'Okay.'
She stood facing away, So Sonic could kiss her cheek. And at the last second, Amy turned and kissed Sonic on the lips, surprising him. Sally and the others giggled.
FIONA: 'Looks like she got you there, Blue.'
RAZOR: 'Well, since time is restored, I had better return home too.'
SILVER: 'Same goes for us.'
SONIC: 'Have a safe journey home.'
TAILS: 'Do you think Ritus is destroyed?'
SONIC: 'Who knows, Tails? They were all inside Time Eater when it was destroyed. They might have been destroyed along with it. I have a good feeling we won't see them again.'
JOHNNY: 'Yeah, I also hope we don't see them again. Those guys were nothing but a nightmare.'
They all agreed.

EMERALD HILL BASE
Sonic was relaxing in the main control room.
TAILS: (looking at the controls) 'Well, it's official. The dark Mobius history is gone forever. And to think, we almost lost this reality.'
SONIC: 'And the Chaos Emeralds?'
FIONA: 'They're back where they belong, on the Floating Island.'
SONIC: 'They really came in handy this time.'
KINTOBOR COMPUTER: 'Sonic. Omni Viewer is outside. He wants to talk with you.'
SONIC: 'Must be important.'

OUTSIDE THE BASE
Sonic, Tails, Amy and Fiona ran outside to where Omni was.
SONIC: 'What is it, Omni? Did Ritus survive?'
OMNI: 'Oh no, he's gone alright. But your actions in destroying the Time Eater has left us with a big problem.'
SONIC: 'What are you talking about?'
All of a sudden, another Sonic stepped through the Omni Viewer portal. He looked like Sonic, but with the original eyes, instead of the modern green eyes.
SONIC 2: 'He's talking about me.'
Sonic and the others gasped at what they saw.
SONIC 2: 'Hi guys, what's the haps?'
Sonic and the others were shocked. There were now two Sonics in the same time and place, and almost identical.
AMY: 'Now this could be a problem.'
